Stripper is designed to prepare fiber optic cable before welding, to remove 250µm buffer coating from 125µm fiber optic cable, as well as 2-3mm protective sheaths. A 140µm diameter hole and V-shaped groove in the working part of the tool are used to remove 250µm buffer coating from 125µm diameter optical fiber.
